Who it works for
ApplyCycle runs grant applications, panel review, decisions, and payment tracking. It began with arts and cultural funders, and it is built to be extended.
For arts and cultural funders
Zivtech built ApplyCycle with music funders, and arts and cultural funders were its first users. Applicants attach files, images, audio recordings, and video links, and panelists play the audio and video inside the application.
Organizations with fiscal sponsors can apply, and several members of one organization can work on the same application. See how ApplyCycle works for arts and cultural funders.
For other grantmakers
ApplyCycle is built on Drupal, an open-source content management system, so Zivtech can configure and extend it for foundations, government programs, membership organizations, and other funders. It fits any funder that reviews applications from organizations by panel and tracks payments after the award. Staff check an organization's eligibility before it can create a profile, so organizations that don't qualify never add themselves or applications to the site.
Most Drupal integrations are available on request. Zivtech scopes and quotes integrations and customizations during setup.
Your website on the same platform
The platform also includes public website content: pages, news, events and deadlines, FAQ pages, and grant program pages. An organization that wants to can run its public website on the same platform as its grant process, so the website and the application portal share one login and one place to publish.
This is optional. Most funders keep their existing website.
